More than medical products, a sustainable partnership in healthcare
Coramed, a family business founded by Dan and Claudia Cosman in 2003 in Sibiu, started by importing and distributing disposable medical items. Rapid development led to the opening of its own factory in Călan, Hunedoara County, in 2006, and collaborations with doctors in major cities strengthened the company’s expertise.
International expansion began in Germany, through participation in the Medica Düsseldorf fair, and since 2019, with its own stand, Coramed has marked an important milestone in positioning Romania on the map of medical equipment manufacturers. Today, the company continues to develop globally.

The Technological Heart of Our Business
The factory in Călan, Hunedoara County, has an area of 800 m², has a two-level warehouse and dedicated ramps for transport. Here, 98 employees work in production, using modern equipment that ensures precision and high quality standards.
In 2020, the investment in the first automated machine for the production of surgical masks was a key moment, transforming the company into a major supplier during the COVID-19 pandemic and demonstrating the ability to respond quickly to critical healthcare requirements.
